The Wines
2019 Gewürztraminer
Made from 100% Okanagan grown Gewürztraminer, this white wine is captivating and dynamic in aroma and palate. A cold, slow fermentation preserves light, fruit forward notes, and crisp acidity that make this wine the perfect pairing for sushi, a quinoa salad, or simply chilled on its own.
2019 Cab Shiraz
Grown in the famed Columbia Valley of Washington, this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz has an intense bouquet that is complemented by a rich palate. With 14 months of oak ageing allowing the powerful tannins to mellow to a velvety texture with a balanced finish. Enjoy with your favourite burger.
2016 Reserve Cab Sauv
Composed of select rows from Obsidian Ridge Vineyard in Lake County, California this beast of a Cab gracefully aged in oak for over 3 years. With intense, dark fruits combining with smoke and vanilla on the nose, the palate delivers only more intensity with more blackberry and licorice notes.

Recipes for each wine!
Spicy-Sweet Sambal Pork Noodles
Gewürztraminer
This is a go-to recipe for myself and Devon, we have also used a pulled beef in place of the ground pork which is nice. I’ll link a noodle recipe here that we always use, its simple and is soo good.
Ultra-Smashed Cheeseburgers
Cab Shiraz
This is all about the Maillard reaction, with those savoury notes and the rich proteins of the beef to play with this younger more tannic wine its truly a perfect pairing. This also allows me to make French fries which is almost half the reason I make burgers…
Reverse-Seared Steak
Reserve Cab Sauv
Outside of going down the sous vide route this is my favourite method to cook steak. You can use whichever cut you prefer but ensure its thick, I like striploins about 2 inches wide. My love for potatoes is going to rise again with yet another Kenji recipe for the best roast potatoes ever. Seriously.
